“ Mount Dottrel Central Otago Pinot Noir 2006 is from a Parkburn vineyard on the shores of Lake Dunstan. It’s mouth-filling but a tad gawky still, with spicy oak and dark cherries with a hint of chocolate, but lifted acidity and firm, dusty tannins give it a pleasant finish. Likely to develop with bottle age.”
